"My story of how the partnership with TFC came about began at the California Closets 2001 Corporate Convention. About a year prior to the convention, one of my partners at the time was trying to retire, but we couldn’t seem to ever come to consensus on how to have him exit. At this 2001 Convention, Steve Rogers was speaking at one of the sessions and explaining this “branchising” concept. I believe I had heard a little bit about it in the past but still didn’t have a good understanding of it. When we paused for a break at the conclusion of Steve’s remarks, I went up to him and asked him to explain a little more to me about this “branchising” business.
